Submit Your Report, We’ll Send You a Patch!

As the 2014-2015 year draws to a close, Lions are reminded to report their service activities via MyLCI. All youth, vision, hunger, and environment activities count towards achieving our Centennial Service Challenge goal of benefitting 100 million people by June 2018. Reporting will ensure that your club and district receive the recognition they deserve! Remember, the last day to report for this year is July 15, 2015.

New Centennial Video: The Impact of Melvin Jones

nw-june-2015-melvin.jpgMelvin Jones was the driving force in shaping Lions Clubs International. From launching the first LION Magazine to starting an extension program to help expand membership, Melvin set the tone for the entire organization. A few years before his passing, the Lions International Board of Directors added “Founder” to Melvin’s title of Secretary-General. But even this new title could not capture the immense impact he made on the association. Watch the second in a series of Centennial videos, and be sure to download and share this video on social media (use the hashtag #LIONS100) or at your next club meeting or event.

Deadline to Charter 2014-2015 Leo Clubs is June 15th
